Wot a big help you are Rod. :)
So that is how you can sharpen the eyes. I tried it and learning something new ! Of course not sure if I overdid it or not as 3 % was too subtle.
LOL well Josh is only 7 and only knows how to crop but has watched me how I do my usual pp work. (Be glad he doesn't know how to do drop shadows yet and sigs ;) )
Thanks for your help :)

Bleeding L wot type of Mum are you where you can't teach a kid to sharpen eyes, It's lucky you're a good cook:-)
I think you have Photoshop Sue Anne if so there's a few ways to do it. The easiest way is to use the sharpen tool from the floating tools pallet on the left about half way up is a picy of a hand pointing a finger (smudge), or a tear drop shape (blur), or a triangle shape with a pointed top (sharpen). All three are toggled by holding down the Alt key while you left press your mouse button on them. Quite a few of these tools change when you use Alt & left click., You can also right click on the tool picy & then see all the tools for that spot & just pick the one you want. When you pick the sharpen tool you will see up under the main menus where you can set the strength it's best to make this a low figure, mines set on 3% You can then right click on the picy when you have selected this tool & change the brush size so it's small enough to just sharpen the eyes as you use it like a paint brush as it gradually sharpens.
You can also use the lasso tool & just draw a selection around the eye & go into the menus a click unsharp mask & it will only sharpen what's inside the selection area.
