All other comments aside. I like the relationship of the marbles in the bowls to one another, especially that there was one left empty.

This is a very interesting image Sue Anne. It maybe has a little fuzziness as though its a heavy crop though? I don't know if that marble tray along the left isn't verticle naturally, but expect an altered camera angle might square it up with the left border better or maybe you have software that can tweak the geometry a bit?

This is definitely better, but I would like to see a little more sharpness to the marbles. Excellent warm colors though. I love this game and have exactly this set myself!

I agree with CJ, Sue Anne, this is much better. A stronger image concentrating on the subject without a lot of unnecessary background. The warm color of the wood and the bright marbles work really well together. Thanks for humoring us! ~Sharon

I like this better Sue Anne. The marbles look more interesting and you can see some nice shadows now too. You might want to increase the contrast and apply a little USM to sharpen it up a little but the crop really looks good. CJ

Thank you Jano and Sharon :)

Here's a crop of the original. Or do I need to submit the pic?

I think Jano is right, Sue Anne, this is a good subject but it needs a little more interesting treatment. Looking down into the bowls of marbles on just one side and crop out the background would make for a fascinating abstract. Good idea, though! ~Sharon

Sueanne - Great subject - have you tried a macro with this or cropping a little tighter to eliminate the background? I see possibilities here :) jano
