Photos can hardly convey the feeling one have standing on the Grand Canyon rim.

Thanks very much, Sharon! I'll try to clear a bit of the haze with LCE...
One can have some perspective of how deep and wide is the canyon, knowing that the green and black pixels on top of the rock at left are a couple of people! See here for a closeup of that area -

Very nice wide-angle shot, Oved! This does catch some of the vastness of the canyon. I like the bright sunlit ledge in the foreground. I know that the rest of the canyon is off in the haze but I wonder if you upped the saturation and the contrast a little if it might not show it off a bit better. Good work! ~Sharon

Oh, this was our second time there - we'd visited it 25 years ago too (and hope to visit there again in 25 years:-) . Roads and view points were renovated, but the feeling at the site was the same - awe and wonder!

Yes, it is really a feeling that can hardly be described. We were there in 1998 (100 years before you???). I thought about posting one of my Grand Canyon shots here but I have only some poor slides and no good scanner. -Gerald
