Another point of order here is the imprint looks like a right shoe imprint not the left, unless this was shot wiv a mirror lens:-)

nice as it is, personally I'd say this one is off topic, going by the literal definition of the topic -- but OTOH, what if Armin just wasn't quite quick enough snapping the shutter here to _catch_ the shoe. Would that count? :-)

I like the fine texture and sharpness of the image, Armin, but the topic reads "Please post images of shoes, any kind of footwear is on topic: boots, slippers, sandals, snow shoes, dress shoes, climbing shoes, high heels, athletic shoes, dancing shoes, wellies, high-heeled sneakers, booties, etc. Let us see how creative we can be with something we see everyday." I guess if Sharon wants to change the topic to include shoe imprints such as on the sand as yours... then that's fine and it's a fine image - and certainly shows a sole of a shoe abiet in the sand :) That's about as philosphical I can be right now lol jano
