Brent, I think if you do a square crop of this starting in the upper right corner and excluding all of the black shoe, you would get a much stronger image. I tried it and thought it would work well for this picture - maybe you won't have to go back for a reshoot. :-) CJ

Thanks Sharon, I here you on the composition. I had this idea and walked into the upscale shoe section of a store trying to be discreet with my camera strung behind my shoulder and scouting for a good angle. I knew I was about to be grilled as to why I was there, so I flipped over this slipper I had been eyeing and squeezed off three shots and left. I was surprised I had anything to show at all when I got out of the store. If I find the time I will go back with my girlfriend to distract the snooty sales people while I try and get something better. I appreciate the feedback :-)
Nice price tag! There is something about the composition here that needs fixing but I am not sure what to suggest. I understand that you were probably shooting in a shop and would not be able to reshoot anyway. Perhaps a different background color or if the shoes were the same color? The diagonal composition works well but it does need something to pep it up a bit. ~Sharon
I always wonder why people spend this much for a pair of sneakers when they can go to K-Mart. (Not that I do either!) Interesting comment on society Brent. CJ

Not true Yvonne; they're Prada's after all and probably cost a buck if not two to make ;-)
