Again, good definition of the city, the inclusion of the sign was a clever idea. Adds the perspective from a pedestrian's point of view. Plus, now I know where this photo was taken from : ) -Cat
I am sure I could have walked a few feet to remove the sign from the viewfinder but the shot would have been quite dry IMO. The sign and pedestrian signal are part of New York daily routine...
I also like the street sign. It's the black box below it that bothers me.

Very very nice shot. I happen to like the street sign there. I like the "urban" look it gives the scene... don't ask me to explain why... it just works for me. All three are super shots.
I like the angle on this one...just wish that "walk/don't walk" box wasn't so prominent. I don't think the traffic control folks appreciate how they're interfering with our photography.

This is my fav too Matt, although I do like the looks of #1 with the nice blue sky and the man in front, but the perspective of this with the street sign in front makes this more interesting to me. The clouds look a little too bright but a good shot anyway. Be prepared for more comments! ;-) CJ.
Of the three images posted this is the better of the bunch. Interesting angle and perspective, looks good in black and white. Seems a bit grainy - not sure if that is accidental or deliberate, but either way it works on this. Well done.
