Yes son knows how to hold it as I have emphasized a few times not to touch the lens or the flash. :)

Cute!!, I like the way he is holding the camera... his fingers are well placed and are not covering the flash, as I have seen many a little photogs do. He'll do well with the camera! You should post some of his entries too... -Cat
