Thanks Rod. For Cat, and anyone else who is interested, the capsules hold approximately 25 people and there are 32 of them. The wheel revolves continually, taking 30 minutes to do a complete revolution. The air conditioned capsules rotate on mounting rings at a speed that ensures the floor is always level. The capsules rotate at the same speed as the wheel rotates, only in the opposite direction. The whole structure is approximately 140 metres (for comparison: St Pauls is about 110 and the statue of liberty is about 90) :o)

I did not realize this thing is so huge... there are people in there!!! Most of the photos I have seen of this pod looked like tiny ant eggs attached to a big wheel.... Great perpective and nice exploration series. -Cat
