Thanks, guys. I'm working on getting both background and foreground OOF, but tain't easy with my G3. Hey, but what's a challenge for?

Nice one Mary Anne the DOF effect isn't so obvious to some viewers as the front bud looks sort of sharp but its a lot harder with a P&S. If you had focused on a bud a bit further away then you may have got blur front & back.
But we can definately see this is a DOF shot & very well done. Good onya Mary Anne:-)
