A nice attempt Pete. I think a better light on the focal point would be more in order here. It seems over exposed in the sky and onto the field you are attempting to focus on. I believe, for me anyway, that some images need a certain type of lighting...towards dusk or dawn, to bring this image to life. I would keep experimenting with this area.. and see how different light can affect the scene. jano

and maybe crop out the dead grass at the bottom left of the image. I find that is drawing my eye as much as the path to the field beyond the gate.

I would say its more like an over exposed green Pete. I would darken the whole shot quite a bit for a better feel. Nicely composed though init.
