No worries, if you win you can shout me a virual beer:>) I like also with this how you can still make out what's in the shadows beneath, it's not all pitch black.

Paul, it was actually about 5:30 in the afternoon. My version of PSE doesn't preserve the EXIF even when I do it as "save as." Thank you for the title suggestion, as it more accurately conveys the idea of the image. Hope you don't mind if I use it.

I love the afternoon, sleepy feel to the light here. If you had the exif it would probably be 8 in the morning

Flowery Escape might work better as i see the flowerpots most of all.:>)

My eye is drawn to the flower pots & the green parts of the building which do reside within the fire escape a:-) Nicely done Mary Anne.
