Beautiful flowers and nicely lit too. Nice color palette. The picture will look great also without the insect

Thanks Oved:-) Yes these have a lovely sweet smell & I love wearing one in me ear:-)

I can almost smell the sweet fragrance of those flowers. Like the soft colors here :-) /Oved

Thanks Carole:-) I will have a bash at fixing the edges tomorrow, bleeding frames indeed:-)

I really like this Rod! It almost looks surrealistic to me (but in a good way!) with that exotic flower and those blurry clouds in the saturated blue sky. I agree about a little more space around the flowers - not much though, just enough so that you can put a frame around it! :-) CJ
Rod 19-May-2006 23:53
Thanks Brent:-) I had a bit more room around the flowers in the original but I felt the focal point of the front left flowers & fly was strengthened with the crop & the white cloud top left was distracting with more of it in the shot. Maybe I could just put a tad more space around the edges though & keep what I was after. Thanks mate:-)

Super nice Rod! Maybe I'm just weird, but I wish just a little bit the frame wasn't so tight around the flowers. Maybe you didn't crop and shot it just this way?
Rod 18-May-2006 09:51
Thanks Sue Anne:-) I think these flowers are common in most Pacific islands as the lovely island girls wear these in their hair.

Very nice Rod and nice BLUE skies ;)
I don't think I ever saw this kind of flower before and see you got a dragonfly too?

Great capture! A real keeper. :)

This blue sky was in the hands of an ahrtiiiiiiist Britt:-)
Britt 16-May-2006 13:58
Shame on you, Rod...I see a blue sky in the bg. What gives? Hehehe
