Gday David, I had a play in Photoshop with it & it came up quite nice for my taste. Here's what I did.....I opened the brightness & contrast tool & gave the shot a contrast Plus 8 & brightness of minus 6. I then used the burn tool (darken) set to shadows & 3% & burnt the whole sky in with a large brush that covered the whole sky so as not to leave any dark lines. I then used the dodge tool (lighten) set to highlights at 3% & lightened the white parts in the sky to white. I then sharpened the house keeping away from the edges to avoid halos. For a final touch I used the dodge tool again to lighten the light walls of the house. I can't upload the picy as I haven’t paid my Photo hosting sites annual fee & can't use it until they get me money:-)

Rod, Here is something closer to the original pic. Tell me what you think. I do believe there has got to be something I can do to make his shot a little snappier. I'm open to any suggestion.

This has the makings of a fine shot but the overdone post processing on the sky really spoils it for me. Nice composition mate:-)

Wonderful lighting within the clouds - really makes this stand out. I'm sure this is the "natural" curve of the landscape, but I think it needs to be tilted a tad bit to the left - as even the straight pole looks not quite straight in my eyes. Nice conversion. jano
