Nice yvonne. And based on the dialogue here I learned a lot about exposure. I appreciate the candor here and how it was handled. I had these in the spring in the woods where I grew up. Brings back good memories. Didn't see the first revision, however this one is nicely done. Paul (pbates)

Yep, your are right. I actually was shooting that shot with my attention on the leaves. I did not even notice that petal blown to smisereens. Thanks, Rod. (brat)

You should have exposed for the brightest part of the scene Y then you won't blow out the whites. When you have a smallish white subject with direct sunlight & shadow you know you will have problems, especially when you can see such detail in the shadows on the flower. You can't really meter this shot too well so you should have exposed on the sunlit grass or other object & then locked the exposure & recomposed & shoot:-) Good try...................................for a girl:-)
