Thanks so much Britt. I do too, and was planning on getting rid of the other one. I've been too busy this week getting stuff done before leaving on vacation Friday to find a replacement for it is all. I guess there is no need to keep looking for that brilliant image that will put all you folks in awe, as I will be on the road when the voting finishes up anyway, and if I ever do get to host some day I hope to do a bangup job :-)

I like this one better Brent.

One of the hardest lessons to learn in photography is editing out the best shots. We can shoot 15 or 20 shots of the one subject, and then we have to pick the best one to show other people as showing more than one per subject can lesson the impact. Normally there's maybe three that are really very good but in time we learn to see just the one as being the best. At that time anyhow, as years later I have sometimes reversed the order as to which is best, as well as realising none of the shot's were any good:-)

Thanks go out to my dependable critics :-) I now have to decide whether I keep this or the first similar entry. It's tough making decisions about which perspective. Maybe this one is more dramatic?
Rod 01-May-2006 11:03
Yes this works a lot better....................I think:-)

I really like this perspective and the addition of just an 'er' is clever. It feels like we're about to be overwhelmed.
