Thanks Rod and Rose. Rod - I actually prefer the mid-day sun for flower photography (macro or close to macro)...as I dont need to carry a flash. - RK

The shadows are only a very minor criticism RK. Mid day is very hard time to get decent shots.

Thanks Techo, Rod, Shu and CJ. Techo,Rod - how did you manage to place comments in the top section? Rod - Couldnt avoid the shadows (taken with mid-day sun)...didnt want to clone it out...actually kind of like it with the shadows. - RK

Nice picture RK! I like the gradation in the colorof the petals and how the black stamens show up against the petals. Very pretty and a nice composition too. :-) CJ
