Thanks Paty, Rod and Britt! You're right Britt about the OOF areas and I did this on purpose to experiment with shallow DOF as you might be able to tell by the F4 in the exif file. I think I need to experiment more with my lenses or maybe even get a different lens! :-) CJ

Maybe it's my eyes this morning (it's still early!) but it seems as though parts of this are out of focus, esp. the lower pinecone. Is it just me? Or maybe it's the harsher light shining just on the cones, it kind of takes a few highlight details away. I like the concept of this shot though, I would probably reshoot it.

I'm not going to ask if you placed the pine cones here cos I don't want to spoil a great picy:-) It does look nice dunit.
