Thanks for all the comments. To answer your question CJ, this is the color they are. It's early spring and they have just come out. Some are green and some are this rick deep maroon. They all have this sheen. Ann C

Beautiful picture of lily pads! Is that the color they are now or is that PP? I like the shallow DOF with the edge of the pad resting in the water being in focus and the soft look to the rest of the picture. Very nice! :-) CJ
