OK, I've uploaded a larger version of the image. FYI Canon, the trick is finding the right shutter speed and taking the shot from an angle that will allow the rain/water to catch the sun. I can tell you that my model ended up wetter than we had planned before I got what I wanted. (I volunteer at a program that works with women who are transitioning out of jail and drug/alcohol use, and they're the models for a fund-raising calendar that I do the photos for. This one was on the cover.)

Was it that simple??? DOAHHH!!!!:)))

Set the scene up again and take the shot... This image deserves a larger version!!! If not in this contest maybe in your living room...

Canon, this one was shot against a deeply shaded background on a very bright sunny day. I had to crop a lot out of the image in order to eliminate distracting lighter colored areas, which is the reason the full-sized image is smallish.

Nice caption! But i would like to see a bit larger version...Maybe it's just me but when i see a beautiful thumbnail i click on it to see a large image not a larger thumbnail...;)

Very artistic and well executed!!!

And a question...I still can't understand how some of you you make the background black...make me a better photographer....!!!!

Very cool Mary Anne :)

Thank you all. And Rod's right...a hose and no flash. The flash on the G3 kills the shots.

Don't be daft David our Mary Anne might use a hose to get a shot but not a bleeding flash:-)
Nice one Mary Anne the lighting is really good.

Excellent Mary Anne. Is it really rain or is it from a hose or shower? Not that it matters - I'm just curious - wouldn't have chanced my camera in a downpour like that if it IS rain! :-)

How did you light it? Flash from the G3?

This is very nice Mary Anne! Great lighting here not to mention all the other aspects of this image. jano
