Olympus was a manly god..i think, maybe a mountain. A Canon is a religious bloke with a funny hat.

I must admit, the in camera sharpening of the G6 is very good, easily matched by the Olympus with post processing though and the sharpen tool..

Look at the great Canon colours & sharpness here, great cameras indeed. Even idiots can get great shots with a Canon, as seen here.
