Thanks Sharon and aam for looking at my Hummers! Many of the pictures were taken at a friend's house who lived in an area with a lot of these little guys but has since moved away so I'll have to be content with what I find around here :-( I had only 2 at my house but they took off so I'm patiently waiting for spring. Frequently they are very territorial so it was surprising to see them all together on that feeder. I like the "Twist and Shout" pic too - very unusual pose isn't it? :-) CJ

Very nice photos you have there CJ. Loved no. 15, it reminds me of the Beetles song "Twist & Shout" :)

You should put the one Sharon mentioned up and ask for captions :) It's so hilarious :)

This is great, CJ! Thanks for posting the link to your gallery. You are clearly having fun taking pics of these little guys! The one with 6 or 7 birds is wonderful and I think should be titled "Belly up to the bar, boys"! Good work! ~Sharon

Thanks aam! I love Hummers and with a feeder up, I can get fairly close. Now, with the cold weather we've been having, they're all gone. I'll be glad when spring arrives with some better light so I can take more pictures of them! Here's my Hummer gallery if you want to see more:http://www.pbase.com/cj_in_ca/hummingbirds :-) CJ
