Photograph of the approach to the Lincoln Tunnel - commonly known as "the Helix", taken from Union City, NJ. Vehicles spin clockwise down the approach, through a $6 toll, underneath the Hudson River, and emerge into midtown Manhattan. There is typically bumper to bumper traffic here during the rush hours.
