RK, this was lit from behind and a little below the crystal rabbit which had an incised design in it. I had to move the light around a bit to illuminate the entire design. The rabbit was on an elevated platform and I used a black background. :-) CJ

Actually, the glass is clear and the red is from a laser light . There wasn't as much detail in the glass as I would have liked so I tried as many different shots as possible and this came out the most evenly colored with the most detail :-) CJ

I like the look of the left & right bits near the wabbit but the wed of the wabbit is too saturated & overpowers the look of glass.............................I think its glass init.
Some reds just don't seem to photograph real well as they seem to overwhelm the sensor.
