That's a funny story Joe! And I do like the highlighted "THINNER" word :-)
And Rod, my comment meant that you can tell this is a guy weighing himself as no woman would EVER weigh herself with clothes on! We are almost obsessive about weight :-) CJ

Hey Thanks everyone! The original is actually very montone as well... the tile, the Scale and my jeans are all a similar tan color! I though desaturating to B&W and then using the erase tool on the topmost layer would bring focus to the word "thinner" and add a hint of color. Oh and this was a "spur of the moment" kinda capture too! It I wasn't visiting my Mother in Law...I would have never come across the scale! When I came out of the bathroom, with my camera, you should have seen the look my wife and her mom gave me! (LOL!)

Carole can you see nail polish on Joe's nails?:-)

I like this for the concept and the composition but I wonder what it would look like in color or brighter with more contrast. Makes me laugh though as you would never catch a woman weighing herself with her jeans on, after all, it might add a few ounces :-) CJ

Somehow I like the composition here, I don't know if its the jeans or tiles or both. I would like to see a lighter version but I'm not sure if the darkness is wot appeals. Well done Joe.

I don't know if I could cope with a scale that said "thinner" at me every morning! Fun shot, Joe! It seems to be a bit dark, perhaps some more contrast would help. ~Sharon
