I like how my eyes instantly get bombarded by all the posters/text, then naturally scan left to right , "reading" the signs. This leads them lower...drawing my attention to the runner, who almost seems to be bearing the weight of all this "information overload"

This picture has a very photo-journalistic feel to it...looks like the kid is sprinting past a snipers alley. Like the high contrast. Would get rid of the shadow bottom left.
