Thanks all.
Regarding the slanting verticals...this is an old barn recently painted...the vertical lines are part of the barn and the horizontals are part of extension (room/shed) attached to the barn. The barn wall is more slanted or tilted and I was framing with horizontals. Hope this explains.

Composition, colors and texture details are are brilliant. (*) But for me, too, the slanting verticals are a bit distracting.

Textures & colours are really good here but me ole eye is having a problem with the level horizontal lines on the right & the wonky verticals on the left. I would have thought if this was shot straight on all the lines would be near level, & if shot on an angle then all would be out of level. Also on a darker looking shot like this the white border is distracting & if a border is wanted a darker white or black may work better.
Great subject for a shot though. Well done RK
