West Springfield, Massachusetts USA

I've discovered that the local multiplex theater complex is offering special prices for seniors on Wednesdays--only $3.50--so I'm determined to take advantage of this benefit of aging. This was taken a little after midnight last night (this morning?) as my husband and I were leaving.

Nice shot Mary Anne, it looks like the James Dean picture when he walks with is long trench coat. If you want to keep the exif in pbase you have to ''save as'' in PS. If you use ''save your image for the web'' it erases the exif information. - Alex

beautiful colors. my favourite part of the image is all the different colors, especially with the glow. looks like some Hitchcock's movie scene. -Abstract

One of the few shots that gets better each time I view it. The title is totally irrelevant as this shots stands tall on its own. -Rod

This is very nice, great feeling of cold and dump weather and, despite this, visually very appealing due to strong colors. It feels more dramatic than the title says, kind of the boulevard of broken dreams - alexeig

Thank you, Jano, Rod, and Oved. Rod, I think the shutter was about 6/10 sec, but I'm not sure, as one place tells me it was set at 1/1000, and I know that's not right. How can I find the EXIF data in PSE? For some reason, when I do any post-processing in PSE, the EXIF does not copy to pbase. And it's funny...the person in the photo (a woman, by the way) was trying to avoid walking in front of me when she saw me with the camera, but I told her to go ahead as I felt the solitary figure would be an important element in the composition.

I like this a lot with the lone person walking. I kind of wish the car headlights weren't in the picture as it would seem a bit more lonely for that person. I love the colors of the "Attractions" signs. :) ~Britt

Excellent image!! The colors are fantastic... and love the fog element and the lonely person on the sidewalk. The reflections on the water also add to the element of this image. Very nice :) jano

Thanks, Armin. It was a wonderful foggy night, and I would have taken more pictures, but it was late and my husband was impatient to get home, so I snapped a half dozen quick shots before he reached me with the car. (Those are his headlights heading in my direction.)
