Enjoy Festivals *

Kite flying festival is my favourite one. i will try to visit my home more often during that time now onwards.
everybody gets on the top of the roof (or top of the concrete houses) and fly kites all day on 14th and 15th.
festival is called: Uttarayan or Makarsankranti

I enjoy this image the most out of your three entries Abs - The sunset is remarkable and the kites in the sky are an awesome sight. I never realized this festival went on, so a learning xp for me as well! Thanks for this image. jano

WOW!! What a shot and what a sight!!! You just brought back a ton of child hood memories. The scene has not changed a bit at all in last 20 years, even including the TV antenna which is good for only the 'dooradarshan' channels. Hope you do keep your NYR... Wish you well.
