Jano and Yvonne, I like your suggestions! I'll see what I can do. We had been having nothing but rain so the light has been terrible for a long time. If there is sun tomorrow, I'll try something a little different. Thanks! CJ

I agree that the flash really doesn't work here.... I think something warmer with some shadows in natural light would work. I would also set the scene up a little different if it were me... maybe with a pad and pencil and a start to an outline of things to take... .like...camera, small cam, extra cf cards..... :) Like you were working on this project and were called to the phone or something. Lots of possibilities here and you have until next year to set this up :) jano

I would try this shot outdoors with natural light. The goal is also one of mine! Yvonne

Thanks for the suggestions Britt. I did a little cloning and a few other things but I am not very knowledgeable in the post-processing department so this is the best I could come up with for now :-)
And Rod, with inflation, I bet it's more like $115 a day! I'm not sure how we'll manage driving on the "wrong" side of the rode either! LOL ---CJ

Wot memories, me & the missus went round Europe in a camper van more than 35 years ago & we took Arthur Frommers book "Europe on $10 a Day":-) I bet it would be $15 a day now:-)

The black of the case seems a bit dull and drab and a bit of burning might help. (might want to clone out the white spot too. LOL) The colors are very nice to the books and the red blanket as well. :) ~Britt
