Moment of Truth *

Like most people, my annual resolution is to lose a little weight. I have made this resolution every year for more years than I care to think about! I actually have succeeded in at least losing the 3#s from Christmas... now to work on the Thanksgiving pounds :-)

nice concept and a very 'personal' view point for the image. i like it.
although i dont see the obvious 'need' of center composition so i would have preferred if you had cropped it close to your leg on the left. -Abstract

OMG, 301 pounds! I hope not Armin! And thanks Rod, Armin and Britt for the nice comments. Britt, that is a weird distortion to the tiles, isn't it. I guess it's caused by the angle of the lens too, as I couldn't shoot the picture straight down on the scale but was behind it a little. My husband thought it looked like the scale was on a wall! LOL

You do need some coffee Britt but the tiles are affected by the wide angle distortion............................I think.

Great idea and I love that scale! There is a weird illusion to the floor tiles - they look almost warped upwards. Or do I need some coffee? :) ~Britt

Nicely done CJ a classic New Year resolution. Judging by the scale your left leg doesn't weigh too much so I wouldn't worry too much:-)
Really nice first up entry, well done:-)

Great take! Love it! Cheers, Armin

Thanks for the comments Jano! I tried to take the picture during the day but the skylight reflection was much worse than the reflection from the light fixture at night. I tried moving the scale around to avoid the reflection to no avail. You can almost see my reflection in the middle of the dial as I'm trying to balance on one foot holding on to the wall with one hand and trying to take the picture one-handed with the other! I was quite a sight :-) I'm sure my husband thinks I'm nuts LOL

ahhhhhhhh.... poundage... never a nice thing to talk about. But your toenails are nicely done and it says you weigh 1 pd. which by my standards is pretty good! :) Great image CJ! Love the color of the tile floor as well. I might have tried to position the scale so you didn't get the bh, but it doesn't bother me so as the scale is very defined in clarity. Well done! jano
