A brilliant interpretation of Einstein’s theory of what happens if you could ride on a light beam. Clock time is just a man or woman made concept that doesn't apply in the universe. Time speeds up or slows down depending on the speed you're going. Even in an airplane time goes slower for the passenger than it does for us on the ground. Very little yucky Photoshop was used in this awesome shot..........cept...contrast...sharpen...burn...dodge...clone....healing tool....&...&..a bit of the ole liquefy thingy:-)

The only PS magic is the bent clock........................all the rest is pure artiiiiiiiistry.

I quite like this but whenever anybody posts something with so much photoshop you blather on about graphics and imagery etc rather than photography so up yours gaffer.

I think your Girlfriend...err Britt helped you make it better- as she did with one of mine. To tweak it just right in my humble opinion would be to experiment with reshaping the spotlight (possibly with the healing brush) to be entirely inside the frame- if you can make it look natural anyway. Still looking great just as it is now though.
Living? Is that a Martha Stewart clock? Maybe this is how time passed for her when she was sitting in prison? ;-)

Fun one to look at Rod. Knowing the blurr is your hand helps settle its presense with me. I think it is great, but would maybe like to see nothing going out of frame, but its hard to say without seeing the difference. Good imaginative job here.

How can I ignore our Jano:-) The blur at the bottom (me hand) is the human element of time being man made & having no meaning as we know it in cosmology. The blur wasn't meant to suggest movement or out in space, as the effects of space time happen here on Earth too.

Nice concept Rod. I really like it. Only a suggestion .... I like the liquify you did on the clock but not necessarily the blurred effect to gave to it's bottom. Rather... why not blur to the right of the watch and on towards the light to make it seem is is "traveling" through the space? I'm no Einstein like you are .. :) but this may have more of the effect you are after? Or, please ignore me altogether as it is still a great concept. jano

Trust me Britt to rain on me parade:-) If I interpreted Einstein correctly I would have to really distort the clock to unrecognisable proportions so this is very modest use of the said tool:-) Believe me Britt darling, I did you a favour with the silly Santa shot:-)

Too much liquify for my tastes. I think it could have been accomplished with a bit more subtle pulling of edges. I LOVE the light though, the color is beautiful and the idea is great. (Now I feel weird being nice to you since you made me pull my Santa shot. So guess I should say B.O. )
