Old Friend (*)

I bought this clock in 1980. From the first moment I saw it I felt like it belonged in my family. It feels very much like an old friend to me. It was made around 1770 in England. Since many of my ancestors came from there it feels like a timely relative.

Ann the details and lighting make this shot for me. What a great old clock and I know what you mean, I bought one many years ago to warm up my home and provide that soothing (to me ) tick tock.....It is a comforting thing. Yvonne

Wot a fantastic clock Ann, it must be great to just touch & look at. Makes you wonder who else has touched & looked at it in the 200 or so years. Just beautiful.
