I've seen a few of these sort of shots in past challenges. So a ho hum from me mate. Even though it's better than the nothing I've come up with so far.......................... well on second thoughts nothing is better:-)

Cat, of course I'm ok! Great realization, I think - as Britt - I like the 2nd version better, yet it is dfficult to say, the 1st version appeals to me by its smoother fealing! I know - being a big help right now :o)

Cheers, Armin

I don't think the bg behind the clock is an issue, and I DO think the new version looks a lot more crisp. But it's just my opinion. Maybe wait for some more comments before changing anything. :)

Hey Britt, You're a sport!! I hope Armin is OK with it as you put it. COPY CAT .. I like that, I think when I really copy (imitate) a photo I should just use that name. About the changes you suggested. I tried that. I don't know how to describe it, its loosing is subtleness. Looks like fresh black paint on a old wall... Here is the altered one:

COPY CAT. LOL just kidding. I think this is a nice effective shot showing passage of time. You almost want to see it click over the twelve as you know it's about to at any moment! Can you darken the numbers and tick marks at all? I think it would make it pop off that white bg a lot more. :) Don't worry about Armin, he is friendly and even if you WERE copying him, he would take it as an adult and as a compliment. :)
