Thanks Rod and Abs. Your idea for "Frozen in Time" is a good one, Abs. I took about 50 pictures of this one stone. It just had me mesmerized.

'frozen in time' thats the thought always comes to my mind whenever i visit any cemetery. Britt, this is a very simple, effective and stong shot. -Abstract

Where do you find these "wierd" things Britt? The picture kind of creeps me out, and makes me sad... usually you can go through cemeteries without really "seeing" who the people were - interesting concept. Obviously this little girl was much loved. This is an excellent shot technically IMO!!!! You can really see this little girl and the DOF works very well. jano

Thank you Mary Anne. I was out visiting and drove by this and her tombstone was amongst all this green and newer headstones. I just thought it was weird since the tombstone dates back to the 1800's and it looks fresh and new just like the others. As if time stood still for it. Thank you again for commenting. :)

A very touching photo. The sharp focus of the little girl's headstone contrasted with the OOF background is very effective.
