2nd: Vapor Trails by Abstract

Oriention of the image follows this logic...
(1) the horizon and vapor trails makes sort of an arrow (pointing to the right)
(2) water line exactly at bottom left corner
(3) sharpest vapor trail excatly at top left corner
(4) a vapor trail becomes horizontal and divides the image in two halves
(5) tangent to the curve of the tree trunk is vertical

other sizes: small medium original auto

I will remember seeing all these trails that day just by looking at your image. I love how the underexposure made the sky a deeper blue. Very nice!

Beautiful. The sharp central vapour trail is like a speeding bullet ripping through the blue. Those colours too, excellent. you're on a roll mate.

Wow! This is gorgeous. Almost seems as if the tree is bending in the wake of the contrails. Nice -- Bruce

I think this is a cool landscape - breaks all the rules of thirds ;) Works for me !

Whoa!!! I see it exactly as you intended it to be seen Abs. My eye is drawn to the vapors. One word - spectacular! How come you had such a beautiful sky and ours stays gray and snows all day? jano

Thank you Oved for the comment.
i see what you are saying thats one way to see a 'radial' alignment. although for me the picture starts at the tree (main subject) which leads my eye to trails...which take them to the right-center frame where all/most trails meet...then the yellowish sunset colors brings my eye back immediately to the main subject. so i guess, its up to the viewer how he/she see the photograph.

Good try, good colors, Abs. * Read your description, but for me, the lines lead my eyes out of the frame, and I feel it's a pity the tree is not at the right side with the trails leading to it. \Oved
