I was feeling a bit down after all me shots got sent to pending by me ex girlfriend & I should have thrown meself under the twuck, but there's no way I would let a Kiwi finish me off so I took a picy instead. I'm sure I will cheer up when I win this challenge.

A Kiwi truck driver, who'd a thunk it? The tilt gives this a sense of speed that i don't think you'd get if it was level as there is no motion with your 1/640s shot. The front wheels don't even appear to be moving. Where you thumbing a lift home?
Rod 13-Dec-2005 09:19
Yes Alex they are called Roo bars (Also Bull bars) down here. Thanks mate:-)

Great composition to this shot. Are those kangaroo bars on the front of the truck? - alexoki

Thanks all:-) I will have a play with a touch darker as per db & some more saturation as per me girlfwend Jano. Or I might just take Techo's advice & just accept that the shot is terrwific:-)

Wod - Wod a purdy phodo! :) I would try to give a little more saturation to the sky perhaps, but agree with Techo on the line and the vehicles in the background. Very nice. jano

Hi Wod. You must be Rod's twin brother of whom he never spoke of ;)

The tilt really works for this shot. I like how the leading line works and we get to see all the cars behind the truck. Nice job!

Everything is fine except the truck is on the wrong side of the street! An accident waiting to happen!!! That's what happens when you give it too much "tilt." LOL shu

I like this image, Wod; and the tilt does make sense to me. * I think I might want to darken the picture just a tad and then increase the color saturation quite a bit. — db.
