Lady Liberty *

This image is cropped from a much larger photo taken from the pedestal at the foot of the Statue of Liberty, on a beautifully clear but cold day with wind gusts that made it hard to stand still. Actually, I think this is one of the shots I took sitting down, with my back braced against the parapet.

Nice viewpoint! The background is a bit too noisy but for a crop hey I can't complain. Hope you had a good time in the city. I had to take a quick trip to the city yesterday. It's the first snow fall of the season. I've always wanted to visit Central Park when it's covered in white, will do someday :)
