I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but there are a couple of white blotches near the lower bottom middle left that totally ruin this image for me. Taking the time to simply use the clone tool would have gotten my vote, but kiss that goodbye, Steve. And what the heck is that smell everytime you open this image????

Have you already thought about making a series of this? I guess, one at night, one at day, some at different weather conditions would be a great opener for a gallery...or maybe a book? The possibilities seem endless. Great job, can I buy a print?

Thanks Paul, Jano, Rod, Britt and RK for your great comments. I will see if I can tweak the exposure just a little bit more for you RK. Now that I have corrected the Title, I think this is getting close to perfect. I can see a future as a Pro now and would like to thank you all for your constructive critism that has led me to such a perfect image and future proffesion. - Steve

The 5D and 100mm macro have worked magic here...its a little under exposed.

He would have won & made friends with the clique by using a frame & sig. It looks so professional.

Should have entered this in the CSLR challenge for Minimalism. You would have surely won. ~Britt

Most aweseome! Creative use of negative space and filling the frame at the same time. LOL jano

One of your best, well done

Thanks for the kind comments Rod, I have pondered long and hard about entering this as I wasn't sure if the contrast was ok. I used the 100mm because I thought the topic also included "get close to the subject". Really needed that macro lens for this shot. - Steve

I never thought I would see the day where a frame suited a picy. This shot really shows the benifits of a full frame camera. The only thing that bothers me is your choice of using the 100mm macro lens, I'm sure your 200mm L lens would have done a better job with this subject. Well done Steve with a tad more sharpness this would be perfect.
