Hey, thanks Rod. Especially with the smallish sensor on my camera it is a challenge not to blowout the highlights when dealing with so much white- it is nice to have my efforts recognized. Despite this being my chosen humorous entry of a few; I did my best to be serious about getting a good capture. :-)

:I didn't know this was a timer, I was wondering why you took this. I’m still sort of wondering but knowing it's a timer does link it to the title:-) Even though I think this is a silly subject matter you have controlled the exposure really well as digital really blows the highlights on this type of shot. So well done on the exposure Brent mate-)

Well I carried the timer all the way from the kitchen to the dining room to shoot this image Rich- I worked hard for this shot :-) Actually I did put in some work experimenting with and without flash to get what I thought was the right look.
The cake got finished - by my girlfriend- and was quite yummy Britt. Wish I could have shared some with everybody here- except Rod of course (he already has a Hitchcock belly) ;-)
