Thanks for the nice comments Canon-eer. I think my little G6 did a nice job on this one. I shot it RAW and the default white balance setting in CS2 faithfully delivered the nice coloring of the tower.

Is this image right out of your G6??? [apart from sharpening] - Canon-eer

We're straight now. :) Ah, yes, those rivets..it's almost like they're floating out in front of the surface - particularly the ones on the vertical. Great job. ~ Lonnit

This is minimalism filling the frame. Love the shadow and hilites on the rivets. - RK

Simple concept and strong image for the topic. The detail knocks me out! jano

Excellent, i've got the urge to run my hands along the rivets. As Britt says, they appear 3 dimensional.

Brent these colors are fantastic and i love how the rivets almost look three dimensional. Very nice! ~Britt

Thanks Lonnit; I think mostly the tilt you were seeing is an optical illusion, but I did go ahead and rotate the image 1/4 degree CCW.

Nice one! We're a wee tad tilted though. ;) ~ Lonnit

Wot a good shot Brent I luv the look of the rivets, the top ones have a chrome look. Great composition as well. Well seen & shot mate.
