Okie dokie!! I lunge at my hubby with tweezers to get rid of those nasties all the time, so I guess I'm a bit sensitive! LOL ~Britt

Oh, no! Britt: the nose-hair is essential, fundamental to this picture!! And, believe me: I’m serious. Only these little «flaws» make all my portraits what they are: close-ups, yes; but no posing, no previous combing, no sitting on a photographer’s chair, no studio- or—god forbid!—flash-lights. Just the product of my casual walking-around at family-reunions (and here, sorry to tell you: the nose-hair is part of it). — db.

You know I absolutely love this photo, but there is ONE thing I would do to improve it. Clone out the nose hair! LOL
He is too damn good looking to have nose hairs peeking out! ~Britt

Many thanks to all of you—aam1234, Yvonne, Britt and shu—for commenting! As far as the b&w-conversion goes, aam1234, I do the most «vulgar» and «ordinary» one (I'm sure many of our co-ctfchallengers know better): *first* the channel-mixer, *then* levels and, eventually, USM; necessarily in this order. That’s it. If you want me to elaborate, send me an eMail. — db.

I like this one best of the three. The smile is dynamic and the eye has a twinkle in it! shu

Great eyes! The rest of the image is soft, but the eyes are fantastic and that IS what the focus should be on...nice job! ~Britt

My goal is to get better at portraits, this is inspiring. Yvonne

Of your three entries I like this one the best, because of the B&W treatment. You have to teach me that someday :)

Waw db. This is impressive work.
