I love this. well done. my only nitpick is the blown out area on one of the forks (but if the blown out areas dont bug you, then all's well!). this is just fantastic.

Thank you for your comments Techo. I hear what you're saying. I attempted several angles/compositions and I felt that the off-centered plastic fork contributed to the dejected attitude. As for the blown highlights, perhaps I'm just an amateur, but I liked them that way :P This picture had several challenges as far as exposure and I felt that what I turned up closely matched what I wanted to get out of the shot.
I really like the idea. (*)concerning the blown highlights, I don't mind them that much in this photo but with the crop they do tend to take the focus away from the poor melted fork. Perhaps if the left side is cropped out some more or the fork in question was situated a bit farther from the right side?
