This is a beautiful picture. I've been struggling with the definitions all along. They keep changing so I am staying out of this controversy! Nice picture !

No no no, Rod, it was in the original announcement too, look here
http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1010&message=15807000

and, besides, haven't you ever heard about, say, an actor impersonifying somebody or something?
Rod 11-Nov-2005 10:39
Yeah, I just read the amendment to the topic, looks like Techo will keep amending the topic to suit the picys posted.
alexeig11-Nov-2005 10:02
Absolutely, Rod: you do need to read the topic again. Here I am citing for you: "*To represent (an object or abstraction) by a human figure."
Rod 11-Nov-2005 09:10
So this inanimate object resembles the human form does it? I might go read the topic again as I'm not very good with long words.

oops...it was Abstract. thanks for the answer :)

Thanks for comment but whoareyou? I agree about distracting elements but not quite about the central composition. Distracting elements: this is a kind of inevitable evil here given that it was shot on a very busy street with lots and lots of distracting elements of all kinds. They are too big to clone out and I am not sure that a tighter crop will be good

clarity in your street photos always amazes me. you are a very impressive street photographer. i like everything about this shot except center composition and a couple of distracting elements (red light and white board) in the background.
