Tracks to Nowhere (*)

Middle of Nowhere, NE

Taken one quiet, foggy morning after taking my son to school. I ventured out across the tracks in my jammy pants, hubby's slippers and captured one of my favorite images. It's a darn good thing a train didn't come along because it would have been really hard to run with my tripod, camera and purse in my husband's size twelve slippers on, hobbling across rocks and train tracks diving into the bushes. Especially for me!

Awesome! the vanishing point in this photo is one the best I've seen. A really wonderful capture all around. Brave photographer you are! don't ever go on to those tracks in slippers again, well unless you got nine lives ;)

Thank you, MaryAnne! It was a beautiful scene.

Love your story, Britt. Also, love the picture. The fog makes the plants alongside the tracks look almost otherworldly.
