More like a scavenger than a "treasure hunter." These guys are all over the place, hunting for anything that might have dropped into the sand. On the other hand, they must find something of value . . .

AMAZING shot, the colors, lighting... just great!
PS Is that person really searching a treasure? Someone ever found something?

Thanks guys, the beach is my home. It's a great place for photos of people interacting with the elements. -- Bruce

I'm visiting in Florida, and just the other day I took a picture of someone doing the exact same thing. Yours is much, much nicer. Great capture of the clouds.

Agree with Ann, the shot works really well with the bloke. Love the subtle colours too. Great shot Bruce.

That really is a beautiful sky and the person seems oblivious. Nice work Bruce.

What a beautiful sky you captured here! I really like the way the yellow reflects on the water. The image for me makes me feel that he is apart from his lovely surroundings -- should be taking lovely photos vs. looking for diamonds and pearls :) jano

What really gets me about this picture is the person's apparent obliviousness to the amazing beauty all around him. He is hunting "treasure" and missing that it is right there in front of him. Without the man this would be just another pretty picture. With him it tells a story and is much more. Ann C
