Beautiful. I like this red spot in otherwise almost monochrome picture

That's better, well done:-)

Sign of Winter knocking at the door. Beautiful shot and great catch :) The photo also has a neat posterize effect going on.

Yvonne only boring amateurs plan their shots, us artiiiiists just go out & create as inspiration overwhelms us..............Know wot I mean:-)

Hi Friends Thanks for the feedback. This leaf did indeed grab on as it was falling off the tree. I found it just like it is here. (really, I did not toss it up into the air and back down like perhaps Rod might do) It's bright color on a very gloomy, gray day caught my eye as I was driving to the park to "look" for something to shoot. Again, my accidental shots always seem better than the planned. Yvonne

Very nice- the color of the leaf stands out well. I actually shot a similar shot when I was trying to come up with ideas, yours turned out much better. I also agree that doing away with that leaf up in the corner might make it even better.

This is very well done! To me it appears the leaf might have caught itself on a branch while traveling downward. I like the contrast between the lovely fall colors and the harshness that is to come. jano

Yvonne, did you catch the leaf in air? i lost the sense of proportion (between leaf and branches) after looking at the shot for a while. very interesting. i like the high key treatment too. -Abstract

Somehow the stark background really helps this shot, it works really well. Now why don't you practice your new found cloning skills & clone out that little leaf at the top right to make this shot complete. Good work Yvonne:-)
