Looks like Kansas, house on the tip. I agree the harsh white light is a bit overpowering to the eye, but if you can get past it the rest of the shot slows down. Yvonne

I'm just not so keen on the harsh lighting on the rug :( I just keep thinking with that nice window there this would be a lovely shot in B&W with natural light coming in to highlight a solitary mood. I do appreciate your concept of the image. jano

i love the 'dark' feel to this shot. post-processing and the tilt are favourite parts for me. -Abstract

I like this Lee and the tilt works well even if it wasn't intended, especially as the blind on your left is trying to match up with gravity.

The books are wallpaper? Strewth! In that case it looks as if you're wondering what paper to put on the ceiling.

Thanks Rod and Sharon. No. This room just does not have any furniture and also no books. The books on the wall are wallpaper. LOL.

Have not tried it in BW and also the tilt was by accident, which I thought worked well.

Do you move the furniture before taking your shots Lee or don't you have any furniture mate? I know the greenish cast was your intention & it helps the shot along with the tilt, but what did it look like in B&W?

I love your library, Lee! I see it has only the most important things in it, books! I like the angle on this, it makes the image a little more dynamic. It would be nice if the carpet wasn't so bright in the middle, it is hard for my eye to get past that to see the real object of the photo. ~Sharon
