Well even for "apart" topic the burning match indicates it's doing what the matches are designed to do, (apart from getting wax out of our ears) so if there was no flame it would seperate the burnt match from the others better ................................................In me honest opinion of course:-)
Very good capture of the flame here!! Whether there is a flame or not really doesn't make any difference IMO. Since the topic also includes "apart from others", I think it fits the theme very well. jano

It would Techo unless he used a light to separate the background or used another colour background. The topic is all alone so without the flame the match would be totally separated from the other matches. But for me the flame makes too much of a link to the other matches & lessens the alone aspect.
