Bruce. i dont use PS (i am a linux gimp guy), so those FM (or all available on net) actions are of no use to me. i liked the 'flat-black' look, as you mentioned, so was wondering if i can get the RGB distribution in the monochrome conversion. thanks though. -Abstract

Thanks for the comments. I use Fred Miranda's BW Workflow Pro for the conversion and applied a blue filter to get the flat black effects on the leaves. The center of the flower had to be redone, because the blue filter clipped it into the shadow realm.

I really like wot you've done with this shot Bwuce, it works really well. With the brightness of the flower you have placed it just right in the frame. Well done mate:-)
