Much better. That reflected light was definitely a distraction.

OK, cloned out the reflected light in the front window. After studying the composition some more - thank you for your comment, Mary Anne - it seems to lead the eye out of the picture, which is distracting. Better like this??

An eye-catching image and very nice composition. I would strongly recommend cloning out the light reflected in the window on the right.

Thank you for the comments, ye olde pros! :) Noted the inputs about the overexposed sky for a next try. We did try to clone out the light in the bottom right pane, but somehow the image lost some of its sparkle. Lots to learn still! S&J

Nice image and great perspective for first time entry! I agree with Rod that the sky is over exposed . I would also clone out the little light that is reflected on the first right window pane. Overall, the perspective here is what really catches my eye. Good job. jano

This is a wonderful entry to the challenge gallery and we all welcome you to the challenge! Great repeating elements, great perspective, and a great entry for a through glass challenge. For me, I'm not bothered by the bright sky, it gives separation to the rest of the image... the main focus of attention.

A great idea for a shot you two, & welcome to the challenge:-) I don't know if it's possible with the IXUS 750 but if you could lock the exposure on more of the sky & then recompose & shoot you could have avoided the overly bright sky. Well done on your first entry.

Then first of all, Sander & Jinqi, hello and a warm welcome. Thanks for joining! And you did a very artistic start as well, very well seen and done. Hope, you'll enjoy your time with us - be aware but not threatend, sometimes some of us really like to start controversies just for fun :-) ~ Armin
